Edward Dixon

Contributing Photographer and Expedition Publicist

Ed Dixon is an avid traveler, a published photographer and writer, and a passionate scuba diver. He has traveled to more than 100 countries and islands on all seven continents, and has had the privilege of diving and photographing some of the world’s most unique, pristine and at-risk underwater environments, including Raja Ampat, Micronesia, Patagonia, New Zealand, Jardines de la Reina, South Africa and Antarctica (www.flickr.com/photos/efdixon).

His photography has been published in multiple magazines, books and websites; has been cited in scientific research; and has been exhibited in art exhibits and museums. His photos have been used by WWF and Bunaken National Marine Park for its dive tags. And he is volunteer writer/editor for Ocean Geographic magazine. The opportunity to photograph the marine life of the Arctic region with a distinguished team of professionals is another item to check off his lifetime bucket list.

When not traveling and diving, Ed is partner and SVP at global communications consultancy FleishmanHillard. Based in the Middle East, he has more than 25 years of experience counseling some of the world’s top companies on corporate communications, public relations, change management, employee communications and CSR. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Mideast. He holds a master’s degree in public communication from Fordham University.
