Sarah Olszewski

Ambassador

Sarah is a 22-year-old student and environmental activist currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering as well as a minor in Biology at The Ohio State University. While she finishes her degree, she is also working as a technician at an environmental consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio where she takes environmental field samples, studies state and federal environmental regulations, and educates large corporations and facilities on the importance of sustainable practices. In her free time, Sarah enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and all things nature-related. She is passionate about educating others on the importance of preserving endangered species and underwater ecosystems as these are vital components to maintaining the health of our planet.

Aside from her work and studies, one of Sarah’s passions is showing an appreciation for the world around her by creating nature-inspired art. She especially enjoys acrylic and watercolour painting and loves finding new ways to incorporate the natural world into her pieces. She believes that art is a powerful tool that can inspire the masses to work to understand the problems that we, as a society, are facing such as climate change. She hopes to draw further inspiration for her pieces on the ACE 2023 so that she can share her experiences with others through art and inspire them to act against climate change.
