Blue Lu


Blue has over 15 years of creative experience in advertising and worked for AKQA, BBH, McCann Erickson working on international brands like Chanel, Nike, Apple, Bose Google, Martell, Audi, and more.

Blue’s work have been shortlisted and/or awarded on both the local and international award circuits. These include several shortlists at Cannes Lions; a Gold in Video and a Silver in Print, both at the One Show Youth Awards; and a Silver at the prestigious LongXi International Awards for Chinese advertising.

Blue was selected to represent China at the Cannes Young Lions Print Competition in France in 2013. In 2017 she won an exchange programme within the BBH network, earning an exchange programme at the BBH London headoffice office

In 2019, Blue went to France to join a sustainable organization — 「The Camp」 as an art resident for seven months. With a mixed 16 countries team, Blue co-created a sustainable project 「PLASTICITY」related to plastic art and the ecosystem.

After her return to China, Blue independently published her personal poetry <;why blue> and short story <the lettler> winning the 2022 Fedrigoni Top Award – independent book edition shortlist.

Now, Blue works as a global freelance creative and writer, recently collaborating with Hakuhodo Tokyo, teamwork with LA and Tokyo teams, and 72andSunny Singapore.
