Edward Dixon

Ed Dixon is an avid traveler, a published photographer and writer, and a passionate scuba diver. He has traveled to more than 75 countries and islands on six continents and has dived and photographed some of the most unique and pristine underwater environments, including FakFak, Raja Ampat, Ambon, Truk, Yap and the Maldives. His photography has appeared in multiple magazines and Web sites (Chief Executive Magazine, SilkWinds, style Magazine, Schmap Online Travel Guides) and has been cited in scientific research. One of his photos was selected by WWF and Bunaken National Marine Park for its 2008 entry badge; he volunteered to help design the badges for WWF/Bunaken for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
When not traveling and diving, Ed is managing director of global PR consultancy Porter Novelli. Based in Singapore, he has more than 20 years of corporate communications and public relations experience in the U.S., Europe and Asia. In Singapore his team supports the regional campaigns of multi-national clients across Asia Pacific. Previously Ed was an EVP at Porter Novelli New York and was an in-house corporate communications/ public affairs officer at MasterCard and Citibank. He holds a master’s degree in public communication from Fordham University.
