Biogirl MJ is the co-founder of the Science and Nature channel called Just Keep Thinking, where she combines education and entertainment to create consumable, engaging content on various social media platforms. To date, the channel has over 180,000 followers in total, including a global audience from Southeast Asia, US and the UK. When not on camera, she is also a nature guide and conducts physical workshops on biodiversity and sustainability issues.

MJ graduated from NUS with an environmental biology degree in 2017, and went on to work at various environmental organisations such as NParks, Singapore Zoo, and the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum. A key role in all of her job scopes include education and outreach efforts to various target audiences. She then worked as a Science teacher and curriculum specialist for the next three years, where she got to familiarise herself with current teaching pedagogies, hone her science communication skills, and curate some of the workshops.

She has been featured in a CNA documentary titled “TikTok Heroes” where she shows how she uses social media to educate others. She was also featured in HERWORLD magazine as one of the five inspiring women who are championing wildlife conservation efforts in Singapore. She was also one of the firsts to highlight the issue of unethical wildlife etiquette to the public, and is part of the committee that works with the government to increase public outreach and education.
