Based in Sydney, I have travelled the world extensively photographing in some of the most remote destinations, including the Arctic, Nepal, South America, Antarctica, Indonesia and the South Pacific, which lends to my passion for wildlife, culture and exotic destinations.
I have been taking nature and wildlife photographs for over 15 years and I have a deep affinity with the ocean and many of its marine mammals, particularly Humpback whales. I have spent the last 8 years photographing these majestic creatures above and below the surface which has inspired me over the years to help educate people about the importance of putting an end to commercial whaling.
By documenting and sharing these images I hope to contribute to the awareness and conservation of the fragile creatures that inhabit this planet. I have exhibited my Humpback whale collections to assist in raising money to help in the fight to stop whaling in the southern ocean.
I have had a number of successes including awards for my whale photographs and segments of my video footage have been showcased on Australian and New Zealand TV over the past 3 years.
Each year I learn more about the art of photography and the natural environment that my subject matter inhabits. I feel privileged to have experienced a lot of what the natural world has to offer and enjoy the challenges of portraying this through images.
