Yemu Xu


Yemu Xu is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and early adopter of crypto assets. He is currently co-founder at ARPA ( and Bella Protocol (, which focuses on bringing privacy and distributed, easy-to-use financial infrastructure to everyone, anywhere.

As co-founder and Chief Growth Officer, Yemu leads growth, operations, and business development initiatives at ARPA, a Coinbase-listed crypto firm, and Bella Protocol, a Binance-listed DeFi project. Yemu is also a founding partner at Bella Ventures, which focuses on early-stage investment in blockchain, decentralized finance, and Web3.0. He has led investments in 30+ promising projects in AI, blockchain, totaling ~$10bn in valuation.

Yemu Xu cofounded ZX Squared Capital (, an option-focused crypto hedge fund with a $100mil AUM that aims to bridge institutional investors with crypto and blockchain. Previously, Yemu worked for Fidelity Investments in Chicago, before leading growth strategies at a U.S.-based fintech startup that provides easy access to financial services and credit for the underbanked. Yemu graduated Cum Laude from the University of Iowa in Actuarial Science and Mathematics.

Yemu is a frequent speaker at global blockchain summits and advisor to many notable startups, venture capital, and family offices in the EU, Asia, and the United States. In his spare time, Yemu quests for the relationship with self, the world, and Mother Nature. He meditates, enjoys surfing, freediving, sailing, and anything related to ocean and wine.
